Face Recognition Vendor Tests (FRVT) provide independent evaluations of commercially available and prototype face recognition technologies. The last result was published in 2013. As of 2017, FRVT is conducted on a continuing basis and uses very large sets of facial imagery to measure the performance of face recognition algorithms developed in commercial and academic communities worldwide.
Innovatrics IFace is a top performer in each of the five datasets, at the industry standard false acceptance rate. This result further confirms the stunning accuracy of Innovatrics technology and its suitability for facial authentication use cases.
Commenting on the result, Innovatrics CTO & founder Jan Lunter said: “We are very pleased that the recent FRVT evaluations confirm that we are a top performer in terms of face recognition accuracy. This aligns with our goal of being an industry leader across all biometric modalities.”
The latest FRVT report includes results for thirty two algorithms and will be updated on a monthly basis. Click here to read the full report.
